No doubt everyone will know the etymological meaning of this word, but beyond that definition, in these "landscapes", I wanted to reflect the passage of time and the mysterious trail that, through scars, footprints, symbols and messages, leaves us layer after layer a great city, the asphalt being a silent witness, of our modern civilization.
Using the collage technique, using elements and textures that perhaps pass unnoticed by passersby, I have created these images that try to convey the perhaps viscous, sticky and even dark climate of the trail that we, humanity, are leaving.
The photographs, all taken on the streets of Los Angeles, are serialized and printed on 250gr photographic paper with 100% cotton as composition, which guarantees great durability over time without alterations in color and contrasts.
